This week, an online meeting was held between Lomonosov MSU rector Viktor Sadovnichiy and Peking University’s President Hao Ping. The meeting was dedicated to the aspects of bilateral cooperation and joint projects of the two universities during the coronavirus pandemic.
Since the initial signing of the partnership agreement, universities have had almost thirty years of productive work experience. Peking University is one of the six PolitIQ educational project’s partner universities.
One of the essential milestones became a course of author lectures given within the precincts of Peking University by an Sc.D. and PolitIQ professor Vladimir Yakunin in 2016.
Professor Yakunin had also contributed to a direct academic agreement between the MSU Faculty of Political Science and Peking University’s Department of Political Science. Furthermore, Vladimir Yakunin was granted the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies’ International Adviser status. ISIIS research is focused on the issues of Sino-Russian relations.
