A scientific journal “Public Administration E-Journal” published the article “On the Politics of Governability in Contemporary Russia” by a PolitIQ professor, coordinator of the Post-Soviet Public Policy MA program, Ph.D. Kirill Telin and Lomonosov MSU Junior Research Fellow Kirill Filimonov.

At the center of the article is the concept of governability, which is considered by the authors from two aspects – obedience and engagement. The analysis of political decision-making is the focus of the MSU Faculty of Political Science Public Policy department’s research, the base department of the Post-Soviet Public Policy MA program.

The notion of governance is drawing more attention from scholars recently since it helps to provide an objective view on decision-making and the processes taking place in public policy.
